Hello fellow science enthusiasts! My name is Vaishnavi. I am a high school student in the Bay Area. Science is a lot of fun, and I love to contemplate experimental analyses and difficult-to-grasp concepts. I’m self-learning how to write about science, whether it be in a formal setting (such as in a literature review, which I’m currently working on and will publish here soon!*) or in a more casual space (such as in this blog).

The beginning of my journey in biology is not very picturesque—I wasn’t some bug collector or leaf inspector. In 5th grade, I complained to my parents that I was bored, so they signed me up to take high school biology online through BYU. I thought biology was kind of cool, and then everything snowballed from there.

At Six Foot Science, I cover concepts in science that interest me. I derive inspiration from both the lab and the advanced biology texts that I encounter. Join me on my scientific journey!
